Restore points in Microsoft XP

Have you ever Windows System Recovery Program in Microsoft Windows XP? If you have used that and found error like this:

“System Restore was not successful, Please try a different restore point. Nothing was changed on your system.”

This can make you frustrated and angry. What you should know to make the Windows System Recovery run properly in your computer is that you need 200MB of free space on the system drive or partition. Run the Task scheduler, select Start, type services.msc, and press Enter. Scroll to and right-click Task Scheduler, and choose Properties. If 'Service status' isn't set at 'Started', click the Start button. And make sure that 'Startup type' reads 'Automatic' before you click OK.

If you can't get any of your restore points to work, remove all existing restore point by turn off System Restore and then on again.
