My Acer laptop and Linux OpenSuse 10.2

Because i have problem with hard drive partition on my OpenSuse Linux 10.2, so i decided to install again my OpenSuse 10.2. Unfortunately , CD no 1 to install the openSuse 10.2 is broken, some file cannot copy even i after i clean up the cd with cd cleaner. When i check the cd with tools from opensuse 10.2 i got information that some file are not readable, i think this is because the quality of cd that i have is not really good. Ok, i can not install Linux OpenSuse on my Laptop, i should try to use another Linux OS. My first choice come to Mandriva Spring Edition where i got the cd from magazine that i always buy every month.
